I have installed a Shower Filter because my skin and hair were being abused by the chemicals and harshness of the water being pumped into my home from the city. Knowing that the city water is cleaned and decontaminated with various harsh chemicals, I looked into the benefits of a shower filter system. I mean I really checked into them and did my research. What I found is that these chemicals strip the natural moisture from our skin and hair. I felt that this was an unfortunate result to me because I have to be clean and I prefer to shower.
The claims of the shower filter system are that I should see a noticeable difference within one (1) week of use. My skin felt better already so I was anxious to see what would improve in a week. At the end of the week I redid the skin test. My skin was noticeably smoother and had more moisture after the shower than it had before the shower filter system was installed. I was impressed and still am.
As for my hair, well it has always needed conditioner to reapply the moisture that the water removed. I noticed that I could use a smaller amount of conditioner because my hair was not as dry as before the Aquasana shower filter system was installed. Reverse Osmosis is a water filtration method used to remove dissolved inorganic chemicals and suspended particulate matter from a water source. Reading an article from the San Jose area about a new lab opening up that test water quality. One of the comments were:

Happy Fourth of July everyone! Make sure you get out of the house and have a great time.
