Still are number one seller is the Aquasana 4000 also know as the AQ-4000 counter top filter. This easy to use filtration system is the best value going anywhere!  That’s a big statement but when you look at all of the competition out there then you understand why this sells so well. The Aquasana filter is a twin-cartridge system. It’s easy to connect and just takes a minute to accomplish.  The filters need replacing every six months for best performance.

Factoring in all of the costs you will get pure clean filtered water for under 10 cents per gallon. Compare that with plastic bottled water at an average price of over  $3.50 per gallon and you can see why people are purchasing. This filter is also available as an under sink model. Either way you are getting a great filter at a great price. I hope your family enjoys their countertop filter as much as ours.

Clothes losing their color?  Dishes have spots in them?  Taking a shower seems like you are  in a chlorine pool?  You need to install a  whole house water filter. Aquasana’s Rhino EQ-300 whole house filter is the solution to your problem. Underwriters  Laboratories Approved (UL rated) and lasts up to 3 years. The initial installation needs to be done by a licensed plumber, however the replacing of the filter after 3 years can be done by the homeowner.  Once you have this filter installed your “whole house” will have filtered water. A bit of news from Aqusana.

Quote:

“The “new” AQ-4000s will all carry the UL Certification Marks, the new UL Approved Performance Data Sheet and Packaging Design. The UL Certification project began in October of 2003, almost 5 years ago! Now our EQ-300 Rhino and AQ-4000 systems all have the highest level of certification offered in the water quality industry.”

Yahoo! Folks these certifications cost millions to achieve and it shows commitment to quality products.

Hats off to Aquasana!

Reverse Osmosis is a water filtration method used to remove dissolved inorganic chemicals and suspended particulate matter from a water source. Water is pushed through a semi-permeable membrane that removes molecules larger than the pores of the membrane. This system works well in removing inorganic material and particulate matter however also removes minerals. Some examples of Reverse Osmosis Systems.

Reading an article from the San Jose area about a new lab opening up that test water quality. One of the comments were:

“Most of us certainly take for granted that when we turn on the tap, we have clean water to drink,” he said. “These labs are really important. They are the first line of defense.”

I agree completely! But what about our  “second” line of defense?

Your last line of defense is the water filtration system you have at your home or place of business.

It is so affordable now to get quality water filters that end up costing you pennies a gallon of water.

Don’t make the mistake of depending completely on municipal systems to protect you. All in all they do a great job most of the time.

Take a look at the Aquasana AQ-4000 for a affordable filter that does an outstanding job of filtration at a extraordinary low cost.

Happy Fourth of July everyone!  Make sure you get out of the house and have a great time. We are going to a very local lake (less that 2 miles away) and do some kayaking and coming back, then enjoying a great bar-b-que with family and friends. Then we are off to enjoy fireworks tonight at Colonial Willamsburg. Make sure you enjoy your friends and family today and remember to thank those who give their lives to keep this the land of the free!

God Bless America!

Reading about the water quality issues with a subdivision in Modesto reminded me to look over the filtration quality of the Aquasana AQ-4000. Testing Performed By Underwriters Laboratories Under NSF Standards 42 and 53 and certified by the California Department of Health Services Certificate #06-1792 removed over 99% of contaminants. You can view the report here

This filter can be purchased for under $100 dollars. Filters last approximately six months.
